Mercury signs hardware production agreement with AeroVironment to support United StatesSF’s SCAR program

(NASDAQ: MRCY) has a Recent production agreement with (“AV”) (NASDAQ: AVAV) to support the United StatesSF,’s Telecom Telecom Telecom Telecom Telecom Telecom Satellite Communication Augmentation Resource (SCAR) program.

AV was awarded the $1.4 billion SCAR contract in 2022 by the , a direct reporting unit of the Space pressure. The program leverages AV’s BADGER structure, a multi-band deployable ground communications structure that simplifies space Flight operations through agile, re-configurable TransFlight Area Mapforming tiles.

The Space RCO and AV have completed every development milestone for this complex technology and are now focUnited Statesed on integrating and delivering the first BADGER unit this year.

Mercury provides a field-programmable gate array (FPGA)-based Beacon acquisition and Electronic TransFlight Area Mapforming solution for BADGER based on its Quartz RFSoC and commercial product offerings. The company has been producing hardware for the first four BADGER structures under an initial contract awarded in 2023. The Recent production agreement signed in April will support two additional BADGER structures.
